New Rewards, Fixes & a Glimpse at What's Coming
Greetings Adventurers,
We have been hard at work for several months now on the next major narrative expansions and story updates for Oceanhorn 3, and we know many of you are eager to set sail into new chapters. We're asking you to bear with us just a little while longer: what's on the horizon is worth the wait.
In the meantime, a significant portion of our efforts has gone into work happening under the hood.
Balance Tuning
We have taken community feedback on board to refine core gameplay loops, with a particular focus on the fishing mini-game.
Delayed Tension: Fish pull mechanics now engage with a brief delay after a bite, giving you ample time to react.
Enhanced UI Feedback: New contextual hint texts guide your inputs during the struggle.
Reduced Resistance: Base fish pull force is reduced by 5% across all species to make it a little easier to succeed.
Stamina Threshold Mechanics: The fish stamina meter is now segmented into three distinct tiers. Reeling success is locked in at each threshold; fish can only regenerate stamina up to the maximum limit of their current tier.
Visual & Audio Enhancement
Post-Processing Pipeline Update: The global post-processing stack has been reworked to improve color grading, contrast, and visual clarity across the game.
New Sounds: Dozens of new audio assets have been integrated alongside fixes to spatial sound fields.
We didn't want this update to be just about fixes and polish, though. To honor our most loyal players while the bigger content updates take shape, we have prepared something special: a dedicated Daily Reward Track featuring a complete, exclusive equipment set belonging to a legendary wandering warrior from Faroah.
