Secrets of Gaia, Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm version 4.0 out now!

Dear adventurers,

Now that you have all spent the last few months honing your Arcadian Tarock skills, it's finally time for another major update!

Secrets of Gaia is version 4.0 of Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm, and, of course, it's the best yet! This update focuses on perfecting the game's content and includes many upgrades to the existing systems to be as welcoming as possible for new players.

This is not to say that you won't find something brand new, like the two new sidequests, The Shadow of Genco Corporation and The Sailor's Widow.

If you remember what we put out this past April's Fool Day, rejoice: while that wasn't a brand new game in the works, all assets were taken from this new sidequest you'll find in Oceanhorn 2!

Arcadian Tarock has also been enriched with two new game modes for advanced players: Restricted Card Selection and Shuffled Hand. These two modes will enable you to have more challenging matches that do not always rely on your favorite deck. Not so easy now, uh?

Another massive improvement involves the radar and quest system: now, the main quest is always highlighted, and side quests are easier to track and identify. And since we were there, we added a new challenge involving completing 100% of Gaia's map.

Regarding controls and maneuverability, we've improved responsiveness across the board: Hero is now faster and more agile, combat has been polished to give you better feedback, and a new lock-on system is now available using both controller and keyboard.

Last but not least, the sound effects of the whole game have been revised and improved, and you'll be able to run the game with enhanced image quality on the latest Mac M1 Max and Ultra models. Needless to say, we took this chance also to smooth out the experience and fix some insidious residual bugs.
